The future animal of the Indian peafowl Pavo Cristatus is called the Pavo Flamma or the Firefowl. It is a complete different species. The English translation for the word 'flamma' is fire. The Firefowl does not breathe fire but it inherited this name because it successfully adapted to the hot environment of the earth. In approximately 430 million years later, the Indian Peafowl Pavo Cristatus will evolve into the Pavo Flamma. This is mainly due to the harsh environmental factors that in around 430 million years later, the earth will become a place where only creatures that can with stand extreme heat may survive.

Habitat
The natural habitat of an animal is decided greatly to the lifestyle and behavior of an animal. Some will adapt better while others will struggle. For example, if an animal is living near the forest, it's main source of food will probably come form the forest rather than some other place. Animals also adapt and evolve with it's environment. Just like the Pavo Flamma.
Due to the huge environmental change 430 million years later, all the continent which exist now will drift away from each other and once again form 3 large landmass which will be separated by the ocean. Human beings will be extinct by this time as global warming will cause the temperature to rise over 70 degrees Celsius. the constant erupting of the volcano will also contribute to the heat.

Because of the heat, the humidity level will be extremely low. Clean water will become a scarce resource and animals which can't have access to them will be eliminated from the world. All trees and plants will be reduced in number so all plant eating animal will disappear. This will cause the once beautiful earth to become a meat eater's hell. The Pavo Flamma will now feed on other animals that are smaller than them and occasionally grass and bushes if they could not find anything.
Because of the harsh environment, the old predators of the Pavo flamma (fox and big cats) will all be extincted, it no longer needs to look out for itself. Thus the Pavo Flamma can reproduce in vast quantities without the fear of being preyed on however, they need to make sure that they can feed and care for all the infants which they produce.
Furthermore, because of the risen temperature, the Earth's climate will become very unstable in the day where it is over 70 degrees Celsius where thunderstorm and cyclone may happen randomly and frequently due to the destroyed climate system of Earth. On the other hand, when the Sun is gone, the temperature will drop a slight 5-15 degrees Celsius and allow the animals to hunt and feed.
Adaptations
Behavior Adaptation 1
Due to the harsh environment changes, the Pavo Flamma has abandoned it's old way of living and adapted into a new lifestyle. They now live in caves or holes which was dug by them or other animals in the day and hunt in the night where the Sun is gone. This is because of the high temperature of the earth and low humidity level. The pack of Pavo Flamm tend to find a water source and then settle there until they use up the water source then they will hunt down another water source then settle there. In this way, they will work together as a team, putting their chance to survive higher.
The environmental issue that caused this to happen is mainly due to the heat of the planet and the lack of water source. This forced the animal to work together as a team and help each other.
Behavior adaptation 2
The second major behavior adaption of the Pavo Flamma is it's way of matting. The females no longer chose for the male with the most colorful feathers, but the strongest, biggest body and mind. This will be achieved by males fighting each other for matting and the winner gets to mate with the female that he desires.
The environmental factor that contributes to this adaptation is the fact that the Firefowls is in constant danger of other meat eaters (Carnivores) and want their child to survive for the best.
Structure adaptation 1
Perhaps one the most obvious adaptation of the Firefowl's structure is it's claws. It has abandoned it's old toe and legs. Now it has a pair of strong and muscular leg with a pair of claw that has a web attached to it which allow them to dig deep into the ground fast to hide from the heat at the end of the day. The claws of the Fireflow has sharp nails, web and edges to help loosen the ground and ease with the digging.
The main environmental factor that forced the Firefowls to adapt a strong claw is the heat and the need to shelter at night. The claw also act as a efficient weapon when predators are attacking as they are sharp which can hurt other animals to force them to retreat or kill them.
Structure adaptation 2
Another structure adaptation of the Pavo Flamma is its body size. 430million years later, Pavo Flamma will become half the size of a modern peafowl. This is due to the low humidity level and the lacking of water. Thus the Firefowls need to ensure that they do not lose precious water via sweat, it choose to decrease it's surface area so that less water can escape it's body at a time. In this way, it can survive longer without the need of water as it is not escape as easily as before. Another reason is to hide from the predators. With it's colorful feathers, it is a sitting duck out in the desert landscape in both day and night, thus it decreased it size to hide.
The environmental impact that cause this adaptation is probably predators and the new environment where water is the key to survival. Without water, animals will not survive for a week in the constant heat.
Physiological Adaptation
One of the Physiological Adaptation worth mentioning for the Firefowl is it 's kidney. It's kidney is capable of filtering all waste products from water, and sending the filtered water back to the body. A minimal amount of water will be used to in the process of urinating. The way, the Firefowls can save water and do not have to have the constant worry of find water sources.
The environmental factor which led to the high concentration urine is the lack to fresh water source. Using water to urinate is a waste of precious resource, so the Firefowls adapt in a way to overcome this problem.
